What we collect
We collect three categories of information.
Account information. When you subscribe to the AI Blog & Content Writer or start a custom project, we collect your name, email, company, WordPress site URL, and country. Payment processing happens through our third-party processor; we receive a confirmation that your subscription is active and the masked card or account identifier shown on your invoices, but we never see or store your full payment details.
Plugin usage data. The plugin reports to our servers when it generates a post, when it hits a budget alert, and when it encounters an API error. We use this to invoice you accurately, surface alerts on your dashboard, and improve reliability.
Site analytics. We log standard server data: IP address, user agent, referrer, request path. If you accept the cookie notice, we also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. If you decline, Google Analytics never loads.
How we use it
We use the information above to operate the service, send you receipts and budget alerts, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve product quality. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
Your Anthropic API key
The plugin runs against your own Anthropic API key, which you store encrypted in your WordPress database on your own server. We never receive, store, or transmit your Anthropic API key. All Claude API calls happen directly between your WordPress install and Anthropic. Your token spend is billed by Anthropic, not by us.
If you want to delete your key, the plugin's Settings panel includes a one-click clear that overwrites the encrypted value in wp_options.
Cookies and analytics
We set a small number of first-party cookies, all functional:
- Session cookie for the customer portal at
/portal(logged-in state, expires 14 days after last activity) - CSRF token for form submissions (request lifetime)
- Your cookie-notice choice stored in
localStorageon your device only, so we don't ask again
Only if you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell one visit from another. They last up to two years; clear them from your browser at any time. We do not run Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or similar advertising trackers.
Who we share with
Three vendors only.
- Payment processor for subscription billing and invoice generation
- Email delivery service for receipts, password resets, and budget alerts
- Hosting provider for the marketing site and customer portal infrastructure
Each vendor has its own privacy policy and a data processing agreement with TygerLabs AI, Inc. We do not share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Account records are kept for the lifetime of your subscription plus 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Plugin usage logs are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Server access logs are kept for 90 days. If you cancel, your portal account stays available read-only for 90 days in case you resubscribe; after that we delete the dashboard data and retain only the billing records required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, export it, or request deletion. Email roar@tygerlabs.ai with your request and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. The same email address handles all of those requests.
Children
TygerLabs.ai is a B2B service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this policy
We will post material changes to this page and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date below always reflects the current version.
