Overview
EnviroMetrics scores any US address on air, water and land quality. We made a news website and an iOS app that turn that scoring into environmental news, education and real-time alerts.
The challenge
EnviroMetrics needed a way to publish environmental news and education alongside its scoring, organized so readers could find topics like water quality easily. It also needed a mobile app that could turn a US address into a live score and alert users to changes in metrics such as lead in tap water.
Our approach
Our team made a news website with topic pages, including Water with subtopics on lead and copper, fluoride and water hardness, plus long-form articles with a table of contents. Our team also made an iOS app that scores a user's location, groups metrics, saves places to watch and sends push alerts, with AI helping produce content and the site optimized for search.
